THE NEW PLATFORM FOR CONTEMPORARY MOROCCAN DESIGN
Morocco Design is a cultural platform dedicated to advancing contemporary design in Morocco and strengthening its connections with the world. Bringing together designers, architects, artisans, brands, galleries and cultural institutions, it explores how inherited knowledge and contemporary ideas shape the country’s evolving creative landscape. Through exhibitions, installations, conversations and curated experiences, the platform creates opportunities to discover work, exchange perspectives and build lasting relationships across disciplines and borders. Its inaugural edition in Casablanca placed the city’s people, places and creative energy at the heart of the experience, opening a dialogue between Moroccan talent and international design. Beyond its events, Morocco Design seeks to support a wider creative ecosystem through visibility, introductions and collaborations, connecting creative practitioners with audiences, collectors and industry partners. Rooted in Morocco and international in outlook, it champions design as a form of cultural expression and a catalyst for education, exchange and economic opportunity.
the 2026 edition
From October 5–7, 2026, Morocco Design brought together designers, artisans, international brands, galleries and cultural voices for its inaugural edition in Casablanca. Unfolding across showrooms, hotels and unexpected architectural settings, the program invited local and international audiences to experience the city through exhibitions, site-specific installations, conversations and encounters. Moroccan creativity entered into dialogue with international design, exploring the connections between heritage, contemporary expression and the spaces we inhabit. With Casablanca as both setting and protagonist, this first edition opened new connections between creative communities, industry and the public, laying the foundations for an ongoing platform dedicated to Morocco’s evolving design landscape and its place in the world.
